(Mass Effect) During Race Against Time: Final Battle - Sometimes on elevator cutscene the back of someone will keep on showing yet the audio will still keep on happening during the cutscene. In this way you can obtain the discount (Charm or Intimidate option) and expose her after taking the assignment from Gianna.This is a compilation of known bugs in the game, if you encounter one that is not listed here, please add it. On PC version, you can also avoid the bug by speaking with Hermia before speaking with Gianna. This can be remedied by simply doing a quick save and restarting the game. Occasionally on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions of the game a bug may prevent the player from speaking with Hermia. The assignment will be considered complete, but no experience points will be awarded. Gianna will feel betrayed by Shepard and will not converse further. The discount is the same as if Shepard negotiated lower prices through Charm or Intimidate, and the prices are not discounted further if Shepard has already done so. This requires no Charm or Intimidate check and Shepard earns 5 more Renegade points as a result. Hermia will give Shepard a discount and then leave. In the alternative, Shepard can tell Hermia that Gianna is investigating her. Shepard must have helped Parasini on Noveria and you must choose the paragon farewell line ("It was good seeing you"), not the neutral farewell line. Note: To get the kiss from Parasini, two conditions must be satisfied. 
When talking to Gianna again, should a male Shepard assist her, she rewards him with a kiss, stating "Much better than an autograph". Afterwards, Shepard completes the assignment by talking to Gianna again. Gianna will then approach and tell Hermia she's been caught and will be fined heavily. If Shepard has already negotiated lower prices, there will be no Charm or Intimidate check and no additional Paragon or Renegade points. Charm or Intimidate will result in 5 Paragon or 5 Renegade points, respectively. If Shepard has not already used Charm or Intimidate to negotiate lower prices, Shepard can use either Charm or Intimidate to convince Hermia to sell technology for which she does not have the license.
